Congo? Ebola! Congo is not a crisis. Congo is a cornerstone for the world.
And I’m honored to share two important moments where I bring that truth forward.
On June 25, 2026 I will be joining the panel at “Don’t Stop Talking About Congo”, a gathering dedicated to truth‑telling, collective memory, and the urgent need to recenter Congo in global conversations about justice, minerals and accountability.
As a proud member of the Congolese diaspora and an active voice within the Equal Trade Alliance, my work focuses on exposing the global systems that profit from Congolese resources while silencing Congolese people. I study and speak on the long Congo’s (political history), the strategic role of its minerals, and the global networks that shape its present.
Because the world runs on Congolese minerals. But Congolese people have not yet been allowed to run their own future.
In the past I also joined the panel for the introduction of “Bier voor Afrika- the best kept secret of Heineken” by journalist Olivier van Beemen. A book that uncovers how multinational industries operate on the African continent. These conversations matter because they reveal the deeper patterns of extraction, power, impoverishment, underdevelopment, greed and narrative control that Congo continues to face.
